The idea behind this new circumcision technique is similar to the castration method known as elastration. The idea behind elastration castration is that the rubber ring is held in place cutting off blood supply to the scrotum until the testicle die and eventually fall off. I guess you can also call this an elastration circumcision technique or circumcision by elastration.
Now apply the same principle of cutting off blood supply until the cell die to the foreskin of the penis. The part of the penis that should be cut off is denied its blood circulation and without the blood circulation, the cells die and the whole circumcision procedure is complete.
The
disadvantage of this procedure is that it takes 7 painless days to
complete. The advantages are many like no surgery,no sutures, no blood
loss, no wound, no dressing, very cheap, etc.
The patient would never have to see any blood loss or take off a couple of days from work to nurse the wound that surgical circumcision produces.

I can assure you that most private hospitals would never adopt this procedure because it would reduce their income.
